Mezzmo extracts all the artwork and text metadata (such as title, artist, album, genre, year, description, actors, directors) from your media
files. It also extracts artwork and metadata from popular external metadata files such as movie.xml, mymovies.xml, series.xml, ThumbGen TGMD files, XMBC NFO/TBN
files, folder.jpg, folder.png, {filename}.jpg, {filename.png}, Samsung MTA chapter files and Sony .modd files.
Mezzmo also automatically retrieves poster and backdrop artwork and text metadata from the online movie and TV show web sites.

Mezzmo finds all your movies, TV shows, home movies, music, photos and subtitles on your computer and NAS drives and adds them into
your Mezzmo library. All details about your files are collected and are stored including title, genre, series, episode, artwork, album, artist/actors, ratings and more. You can
customize all details as you wish.
If you already have well organized folders on your computer, then simply add those folders into Mezzmo and they will be replicated exactly the
same way for easy browsing on your UPnP or DLNA devices. Even better, when you add a file or remove a file at a later date, Mezzmo automatically
detects changes in your folders and updates the list of files for you. No need to maintain your library of files!
Like playlists? Mezzmo's slick interface lets you create your own playlists based on the details about your media files - for example, create a playlist that lists all your
horror movies, or a playlist of all your unwatched TV shows, or a playlist of all your favorite Bob Dylan songs organized by album.

Streaming subtitles has never been easier or more powerful. Mezzmo can read, stream and even transcode all popular external subtitle file formats

Simply set your preferred language and Mezzmo will find the matching subtitles on your computer

Advanced users can customize Mezzmo for each of their devices in their home so that different subtitle languages are streamed to different devices. For
example, you may want to have German subtitles streamed to your TV in your main living room and English subtitles streamed to your Xbox 360 in your
children's room.
If your device does not support subtitles, then Mezzmo can fix that. Mezzmo will automatically burn your preferred subtitles into the video and then stream
this video to your device. You can set up exactly how you want your subtitles to look - e.g. color, font, size.

Parental control using content ratings

Mezzmo lets you set content rating permissions for all your devices in your home so that your children cannot access media files that are not
suitable for their age. Mezzmo automatically collects the content ratings for your movies and TV shows. You simply set the acceptable content
ratings for your devices and Mezzmo looks after the rest. Advanced features let you set the times when content restrictions apply (for example,
between 6:00AM to 9:00PM) and enter a special PIN code into your Mezzmo Android app to bypass content restrictions so you can view and play all
